What is Readstash and how does it work?
Readstash connects to your X (Twitter) account, syncs your bookmarks, and uses AI to organize them by topic. You get a weekly email digest with summaries of your saved content — so you actually read what you bookmark instead of letting it pile up.
Is my X account safe? What access do you need?
Completely safe. We use official X OAuth 2.0 with read-only access to your bookmarks. We cannot post, follow, unfollow, or modify anything on your account. Your OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256 — the same encryption banks use. You can revoke access anytime from your X settings.
Are my Twitter bookmarks private on Readstash?
Yes, your bookmarks remain completely private. No one can see your bookmarks on X, and Readstash keeps them private too. Your digests are sent only to your email, and we never share, sell, or expose your bookmarked content to anyone.
How does the AI interest detection work?
Our AI analyzes the content of your bookmarks and automatically groups them into topics like AI, Finance, Startups, Design, and more. It gets smarter over time as you save more content. You can also manually adjust your interests from your dashboard.
Can I organize my Twitter bookmarks into folders or categories?
Twitter doesn't offer bookmark folders natively, but Readstash solves this. Our AI automatically categorizes your bookmarks by topic — no manual sorting required. You get organized groups like "AI & Tech," "Business," "Design," etc., delivered in your weekly digest.
Is there a limit to how many bookmarks Readstash can sync?
Readstash syncs your most recent bookmarks from X. Twitter itself has an undocumented bookmark limit (users report issues around 800-1,000+). We recommend using Readstash to regularly process your bookmarks so you get value from them before they pile up.
How is Readstash different from Pocket or Raindrop?
Pocket and Raindrop are general bookmark managers for web pages. Readstash is a complete intelligence system for social content. We auto-sync your bookmarks, use AI to summarize and categorize them, deliver weekly digests, and go further with a Knowledge Hub (semantic search), Content Studio (turn saves into threads and newsletters), Audio Briefings (listen hands-free), and an Interest Pulse that tracks your evolving interests. No manual saving or tagging needed.
Can I search through my Twitter bookmarks?
Twitter only offers bookmark search for Premium subscribers. With Readstash, you get a Knowledge Hub with semantic search — ask questions in natural language like "what did I save about pricing strategy?" and find anything instantly across all your saves.
What is the Knowledge Hub?
The Knowledge Hub uses semantic search (AI embeddings) to let you search all your saved content by meaning, not just keywords. It also clusters your saves into visual topic groups so you can see connections between ideas you've bookmarked.
What is Content Studio?
Content Studio lets you turn your saved bookmarks into publishable content. Pick a topic cluster or select specific saves, choose a format — Twitter thread, newsletter, insight report, or notes — and get AI-generated content based on your own curated sources.
How do audio briefings work?
Audio Briefings generate a personalized spoken summary of your top content. Hit play and listen to a 5-minute intelligence brief — great for commutes, workouts, or anytime you want to consume content hands-free.
What is the Interest Pulse?
Interest Pulse is a real-time dashboard of your evolving interests. It tracks what you're reading, saving, and engaging with to show: core interests, trending topics, curiosity spikes, and fading topics. You can track, dismiss, or keep watching each interest.
